1985 Tohatsu M-70A 70hp Need Gasket ??

Hi All, I need a water plate gasket for this motor.Part # is 353-01024-1 Its a 1985 M-70A Tohatsu 70hp this is the 2 cylinder model! I have tryed my local dealer and they buy directly from Tohatsu/Nissian they say its no longer available?I am hoping to find one in stock somewheres?I know I could make my own if I have too! I was just hoping one of our great following here could ask the next chance they get at there Tohatsu Dealer. I could call around but by the time I find one I could of bought a new motor with what I would spend on phone calls!!!<br />steve Nevetsd@aol.com

45_red Thanks I hadn't emailed them yet. I have emailed alot of others and have got the same responce no longer available.I might have to buy the whole rebuild kit to get this one gasket.

Hi I was able to get the gasket from<br /> White county Marine 501-268-7985 seems they bought out the last supply of Tohatsu parts. Some other mariner gave me the info. Any body with an older Tohatsu should write this # down.<br />steve
