1985 Nissan 55hp Harness COLOR ID

I have a 1985 55hp Nissan. Engine harness was cut. I'm good back at the motor but having trouble at the new cole hersee 3 position ignition switch. I have the following hooked up from the engine harness to ignition switch. Red to battery, Green to solenoid. Which color goes to ignition to charge the battery, white, black, brown, yellow? You have the wrong switch. You must accommodate the magneto kill as well as start and charge.

Red - 12v
Green - Solenoid
White/Yellow - Tach-Ground and Tach-Charge
Brown/Black - Mag-Kill and Ground

Get a proper Nissan/Tohatsu switch, and the colors will line up just peachy.
