merc outdrive not sure what model seems to have been changed trim pump is all aluminum with 2 soleniods both are working fine and are wired correct when you hit trim up it works fine when you hit trim down it starts down for just a split second then goes up if you crack the return line clear line from a valve up at the shift cable and let it bleed down a little it will then work fine until it sits for a day or so then it sticks again boat is a 1985 vip mercruiser io last year when i first got the boat i read a little on here and downloaded a couple manuals but couldnt be sure what outdrive i had if i remeber right the outdrives changed around 85 it is the drive with the hole in the cap on top of drive looks like its for lifting thanks guys for any help if smoeone can just explain the flow of hyd fluid and the valves in the pump and on the shift cable i can probably figure it out something has to be sticking but dont want to just throw parts at it
