1985 Johnson Seahorse 4 Hp Parts Needed

I have recently purchased a 1985 Johnson Seahorse 4 Hp and wondered if anyone knows where I can get the control knobs for the choke and the air fuel mixture. They are missing and I would like to replace them on this great running little outboard.

Check with your local dealer, looks like the parts a still available.

If you want them for asthetic reasons go for it, however you don't need them and in certain cases it might be better not to have them depending on your situation. Once the carb is setup and adjusted properly you should not have to touch either of them and you can adjust them without the knobs fairly easily. I say it might be better not to have them as people, usually younger children although anyone may do, may turn one becuase its there, or thinking its an idle screw or some other reason etc....
