My dad recently passed away and I was given this boat. I am trying to find a little more detailed information. The HIN is DUR427100D585. The boat is in really good condition for its age. I am having trouble trying to find any documentation for this boat. Thanks in advance.

Try using DUR42710D585

The hin you posted is too long, should only be 12digits, and position 9 is supposed to be a letter and position 10 is a #. Yours doesn't conform to those parameters, drop a zero as I did and it conforms.

Run the HIN I posted thru www.hindecoder.com and some info is provided

Your # decodes as invalid

What documents are you looking for?

Owners manual is basically worthless and generic not specific to your boat, it's features/options/operation. Basic safety & navigation mostly in vast majority of Owners manuals. Not at all like a car manual

Get a factory service manual for the motor, it's an invaluable asset to have

One too many zeros In the original one I posted. What you posted is correct. I am really just looking for specifications. Just any information really. I appreciate your reply.

Ok I’ve looked up my motor serial number. I’m a little confused. My serial number is D296146. But when I look this up there are multiple engines. Not sure which is mine.

This is the first boat I have owned. So I’m really new at this.

Doesn't exist, likely never did.
So basically, trace the wires, make my own? 🙂

I think I got it. Had 2 fuse holders and 3 accessory switches I had to replace. I took a picture of the wires but had one switch out. It had hot jumpers from switch to switch. I’m just going to re-wire it because I think whoever wired it before used some backyard engineering.
