I have a 1985 Suzuki dt65 with oil injection. On the gear inside the oil pump, are the two bumps supposed to be flat on top or pointed? I am trying to determine if the pump is worn out. It is not pumping correctly, in fact hardly at all.
Also the brass ports where the oil injects Into the crank case, should I be able to blow compressed air through those ports into the crank case if not is there anything that can be done to clean those?
