1985 bayliner motor swap help

i just got a 1985 bayliner capri for free it has a volvo aq125a motor and a 270 outboard drive. The motor is locked up I've done a little research on this motor / boat I've learned that they no longer make this motor or most of the parts for it what is a good motor i can swap into this boat its the 18' model is what I'm told please help I'm new to boats thanks

Welcome aboard

It might be cheaper to find out what the older motor needs instead of a swap. A swap could set you back thousands of dollars for your free boat............ AND

That was the worst year for bayliner boats having rotten stringers, deck and transom. What you might have is a HUGE money pit.

Seriously you might want to look for a boat in more of a running condition and spend money that way
