just purchased this motor last weekend, they say it has not been run in 3 years. so while cleaning it up I took out what I believe lean adjustment screw in the center of the motorto check and see if there was a blockage or the port was dirty. well any way I got it started idles fair shifts good forward and reverse my question how far do you screw back into the carb. this screw it has a black plastic like stopper or what ever with a raised shoulder on it. I was careful to get it back into the slot, one thing I dont like it has no kill switch or button I have to turn the throtle all the way closed. thanks for any info ED

If it starts and idles "fair", it is close. Just tweak it one way or the other from where it is to get the best idle. Usual procedure is to turn it in until the motor falters or sneezes, then back it out till it recovers.
