1985 26' sundancer

Hey everyone...

I have a 1985 26' sundancer. Has the 260hp package (350 chevy engine).

I was wondering what type of performance others with a similar set up are getting -- and what size prop you are using...

I just got this 'project' boat running and need a new prop for it.. also need to bring my GPS with me to test various speeds..

My 1987 23' / 305 2v-alpha (200 hp) cruised at 23-24 mph and topped out at 33-34 ish. I think your 26' / 350 will be similar, maybe a bit faster...

I have a 82' 26' Searay Sundancer with a 350/260hp and it will top out at 40 mph with correct trimmings and conditions.

I have same model & year with a replacement Vortec installed 2 yrs ago...Carry lot's of family equipment onboard but can hold 28-30 knots wot..Don't do it often, I like my engine in one piece...Although I don't have the prop size handy, I can make a note of it and respond tomorrow..

I think mine is waterlogged. I'm going to get it weighed before I worry about the performance more. I'm only getting 17 - 18 mph at wot right now..
