1985 25 Johnson with spark but wont start

Hi i have a 1985 Johnson that has spark but wont start the compression it okay the carb is clean . I am wondering if it could be the fuel pump . It does not want to fire. Any suggestions

If your pumping the fuel bulb till its firm, it should at least run until the carb bowl is empty if the pump is bad. Are your plugs dry after trying to start? Are you getting fuel into the carb? Maybe your carb needle is stuck closed. Ryan

How did you check your spark ?? If it won't jump a 7/16 " open air gap on a spark tester, it won't start.
