You haven't provided your engine s/n but if you are sure it is a 1985, here is the parts list:

18/20/25 H.P. (XD) - Mercury, Mercruiser, Force, etc. Parts Lookup

You don't have to buy the parts there but use the numbers to go searching on line.

ebay is your best hope and they wont be cheep. The PO of my motor cut 2 inch holes in the cover and I looked for several months before I started glassing it.
