I smoked number 1 and 2 pistons in my 1985, 150 Merc. What can I expect the cost to run. I ran a compresion test 3,4,5 and 6 pistions are fine.<br /><br />Thanks............
Oil injection problems. I've been told that when that happens the number 1 and 2 pistions are the first to go. All it did was shut down as if you turned the key off. After we got it out of the water it would fire but not start. When I took the plugs out the number one plug had one little piece of metal on the end.
