1985 15 hp mariner not peeing

Hi wanting to see if someone could help me I have a 1985 15 hp mariner just replaced impeller and the thermostat and it's been running fine. But I went out to the waterway sat and while I was out there I noticed motor is not peeing now but is not running hot or anything like it did whenever impeller went out. If anyone has anything that might help let me know and thanks in advance..

Follow the hose back to where it connects to the engine. Disconnect it. Run the engine. Pee? If so, run a wire through your hose to your outlet....dirt dobbers got you. If no, run a wire through the hose barb that screws into the engine and clean it out. May have some scale clogging it that you may have dislodged in changing your impeller.

You may not have hoses to your tell tale. My '82, 30 HP has the tell tale supply cast into the block.

What I've done is get some vinyl tube and hose adaptors from local hardware store. Hook up to a hose nozzle and hold end of tube over tell tale outlet. Squirt water in and you may be able to blow any stoppage out..

Had a hose just un hooked and ran a cloths hanger through it and cleaned it right out peeing good now thanks Texasmark..........
