I’m in the beginning of a rebuild project ( A lot to do) but the first thing on my hit list is to get the owners manual or datasheet for the boat. The HID is # WELJ0583M84H-228 stamped into the transom. Everything that I can find on the 1984 Wellcraft Sportsman 228 indicates that it has outboards, this is a stern-drive with a Mercruiser 228.

Any information that any of you might know on this boat would be appreciated.

This is going to be a process so I will be updating on progress from time to time (with Photo’s)
