I have an option to buy a 1984 Sea King 15HP for $200. The guy says it runs but bogs down at full throttle. I'm guessing it'll need a carb cleaning and new gaskets.

1) Is this motor worth $200?

2) Are parts hard to find for these motors (Chrysler?)?

I appreciate any input.

That is probably a Force. A model number can confirm that.Probably on the mounting bracket somewhere. There is a slim chance if a different year it could be an Eska which you should stay away from.
The Force is an inexpensive way to get an outboard but has a dwindling parts supply. And is officially an orphan with no parts specific parts support.
Certain ignition parts are difficult and expensive to get.
