1984 Johnson 115hp, value?

HI,
I am trying to sell a 1984 Johnson 115hp outboard for a relative. I have no idea what the value of this motor is.

Can you give me an idea of what this motor is worth in decent condition? No controls or anything else, just the motor. I have been told the compression is good but will test again before I sell.

Just doing some research before I try to sell.
Any info is appreciated.

Depends..... salt water motor or fresh water history? $700-1200

1984's and newer are worth a bunch more then 1983 and older. That is 115 hp at the prop being a 1984.
