Have Model BELCRM

Am operating it in 55 gallon barrel that had diesel fuel in it. Cleaned barrel, but dirty and greasy residue forms on water surface and motor.

Flow from pee-hole occurs within minute after starting motor. Water feels warm but not hot. Greater flow when revved up.

Horn goes off after about 5 minutes of running. Engine speed has not decreased at that time. Head too hot to hold hand on.

Diagnosis?

Probably time for a new waterpump.

Should water come from pee-hole immediately when engine is started, or is there a delay due to thermostat not opening?
