I did read a number of your answers in the archives. So why ask? Because, it's not my motor & my buddy thinks that I'm making a mountain out of a molehill. He just had it tuned up & readied for the season, his 150 Merc. is in the shop having a # of items repaired (he & his dad destroyed the lower unit) Anyway, I figured if a professional (you) would recommend draining all the fluids & whatever else needs to be done, he & I can remain friends even though I'll be laughing hysterically. He's a super guy, great soldier, saved my butt when I messed up and got cut off from my squad, if he actually had done what I ordered him to do the outcome maybe have been different. My point being that you can't tell him anything, if it's daytime he'll say night. When I show him this, his response will be what does that **** *** know, & he'll blow it up.
