Greetings -
My tilt/trim unit will trim up, tilt up, tilt down, but not trim down. I've checked the o-rings on the manual valve, they appear to be OK.
I was wondering if anyone has ever removed the shuttle valve from one of these units, and if you did, how the heck did you do it? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. If I can't get this tilt and trim to work properly, I'll probably have to part out the whole motor on EBay.
Snif....this was going to be such a great rebuild project.....
