My lower unit is leaking and I naturally thought my prop seals were the culprit, but upon further investigation they are bone dry and the oil is leaking from further inside. I'm wondering if I can pull the bearing carrier workout removing the lower unit from the motor? I'm currently without a workbench. From pictures and videos online I don't see why not, but everything I've seen has the lower unit removed. Thanks in advance!
