Spark on bottom cylinder completely dead from time to time. Discovered with timing light today. Next step which part of the ignition system is likely to be faulty. The coils have been swapped and ruled out.<br />The motor is a 1984 mercury 6HP 2 cyl 2 stroke. I think the igmition system is CDI. <br />Can anyone explain the workings of the stator, power coils, trigger, and switch box/power pack. <br />Thanks again.
