1984 225 Sea Ray Specs

Hello,
We purchased a used 1984 sea ray about 2 yrs ago, boat is pretty solid, being somewhat new to the whole baot thing we have been attempting to get some general information regarding the boat, specifically, what is the gross weight of the boat...mainly for towning info...any help on these old sea rays ??

Hi,
I have the same boat, (I think) and we really enjoy it.
Ours is a 225 Express cruiser. Dry weight is, I believe 4050 lbs.
Trailer adds another 1500 lbs, 75 gallons of fuel- 450? lbs., 25 gallons
of fresh water-210? lbs. I've never weighed it on a scale, but for towing
purposes, we consider it a 6500 lb. package with all the gear on board.
Ours trailers beautifully behind our 1997 Tahoe (rated for 6500 lb. towing).

For the best info, you can go to Sea Ray's website and pull up the pdf files
of your boat. there will be some specs there.
