1984 18hp Nissan

I have a friend that will be looking to buy this motor this weekend. I told him to make sure the compression is fine. Does anyone know what the compression should be on a 1984 or '85 18hp Nissan? Anything else he should be concerned with when looking at this motor?

The compesssion should be even between the cylinders...The number itself varies depending on the gauge. Be advised: Carburetor and ignition parts are no longer available for engines over 25 years old.
