1984 100 HP Johnson Timing Adjustment

I have a 1984 100 HP Johnson outboard. I need to know how to adjust the timing and idle on this motor. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.<br /><br />John

Final tining check should be done at 5000 rpms engine loaded. Timing should be retarded about 4 degrees from what is marked on engine.
