1983 Suzuki DT 40 water spray?

Is it normal for Suzuki DT 40 (1983) that exited cooling water is in spray with exaust gas and not in flow form? Also at idle speed and in starting is many blue smoke present. I don't had overheating problems (I think). Impeller is new.<br />Thanks for answer.

Yes, the water should be a constant spray (not a solid stream). If it doesnt smoke at least a little, you've got problems. All 2 strokes smoke, especially when starting.<br /><br />
