My friend (really, it is not me) replaced a starter switch on his 1983 Stoker, then it would not shut off. He left it this way for years and just flooded the motor to shut it down (sounds interesting). He called me two days ago because he took the ignition switch wiring apart and now he has other problems (I do not remember everything and I have not gone to look at it).
I just ordered an Evinrude manual on this site, do they come with wiring diagrams? Are the wiring diagrams pertinent regardless of the vessel the motor goes on?
