Ha ha, well... Since I am doing a total rebuild on this motor, I thought it would be best to have it running proper in its original configuration. After a ridiculous amount of delay due to parts issues (I don't even want to start) I finally got everything and put it together. Yesterday, I didn't have much time, but I can say it starts, and runs! I'll have to go through and do a complete link/sync/mixture adjustment but, at least I can say it runs! The 25hp conversion is something to tinker with down the road. I just want to know that if I ever need to sell this motor, I can put the 18 carb back on to keep it original for the next owner. Give the 25 carb to some other nut looking to turn his 18 to a 25.
