I have a 1983 Merc 115 inline SN # 6411738 with dual cylinders and onboard pump.
I purchased the boat last year and the hydraulic lines were torn so I replaced them, then followed the procedure to bleed them. This was after running multiple cycles with the vent screw off and adding fluid as needed.
However, the cylinders still seem to have air in this as I can pull the motor up and down about an inch or two and I can see the rods move in and out of the cylinder with this process.
Is there anyway to bleed the cylinders or I am not doing the process correctly? I don't seem to have bleeder screws, but I have attached pictures of my cylinders.
Thanks
