1983 evinrude 50hp onboard charger?

i think there is such thing as a charger you can hook up to your motor that charges your batteries when the big motor is running if so would this work on my tiller 50 evinrude otherwise what kind of chargers do they make to charge your batteries when your on the lake

no there is no such thing as a onboard charger.the motor itself has its own charger built in called a rectifier.all you need to do is hook up your batt cables to your motor and battery and when the motors runnin and there it charges!
