This has had a leaking crankcase since I bought it I brought it back to life with a new water pump, fuel lines and pump. Now the second cylinder has gone out. It still has good compression and coil is good along wit h spark wire and plug. The crankcase however has gotten worse when the motor runs on 1st cylinder it bubble gas at the powerless seam below rotor on both sides of engine. Are these rebuilds easy? Time consuming? also what can I expect as foreseeable problems/ expense.

Where has the second cylinder gone out too?
The rebuilds are easy, leeroy's rambling's explain it all in great detail, as long as you have tools and mechanical ability. Price up rings, conrod bigend bolts and a gasket kit. I'm sure there will be other things wrong in there while you are in there. The thrust mounts are expensive and generally blow the cost of a rebuild out. These are also detailed on leeroys pages.
