Anybody happen to know the proper routing for the hose coming off of the fuel enrichener? Motor serial # 6296443. I have searched far and wide with no success. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Forgive my ignorance as i am working in the blind. There doesn't appear to be any sort of hose barb fitting on either the middle carb or the bottom carb. I located the one on the top. When i acquired the boat the previous owner didn't have any of it hooked up and i can't for the life of me find so much as a picture or any other info anywhere. I don't know if everything is there that is supposed to be.

if no fittings, that says they originally had a tha "flapper choke" (pre-enrichner) system. sounds like someone had a good idea but didn't look far enough ahead...

If that were the case wouldn't the choke plate and the top carburetor have to been changed at some point?

thinkin' 'bout it, tha '83 should have had an enrichner ta start with. flappers had already gone away best I remember...........look on top of tha carbs for a WH number. all three should match.

for some reason this site is operatin' really slow for me. all others I have open seem just fine

Would it be possible, better, or worse to change it over to the older flapper style?

would be easiest IF you could find a box frame with all tha stuff still on it. ie: solenoid, linkage, butterflies. otherwise ya gotta change tha carbs or add fittings...
