1983 8hp Mariner not getting gas to carb

I just bought new gasket and diaphragm, still not getting gas to carb. Has me stumped as I have removed the bowl from the carb and connected the gas line to see if gas was getting in and nothing going trough. I used lots of cleaner and still nothing ???

When you pump the bulb dose it get gas. If not then look at the motor connector and pump and see. and test it along the way.

Thanks for your suggestion. Gas right up to the diaphragm. Need another screwed that one up. That was the problem gas not flowing through. Wondering if gas only flows one way with them, there is a hole in it now and getting way to much gas.
