I can't seem to find the idle adjustment screw on the XD model, Ive looked on youtube but don't see a lot of XD'S. Any help is appreciated.

Nothing special about an XD. Need serial # and is this a tiller or remote model

Look at the front of the carburetor.-----Look near the top.----Use a small screw driver and adjust as needed.

#34 it is literally called a headless screw. It Has a slot in it to adjust

The screw racer is talking about is # 16 that is the low speed mix. the one I pointed out is Idle speed.

Put up a pic of the carb and linkages on the side of the motor. What color are your stripes?

Location is the nearly the same on Tilliston and Walbro carb, just a lil more to the right(#3)

I set that at 2 turns out to start, turned in 1/8 at a time till ran real ruff, backed out same, turned in to a happy spot. Really poor design for a idle screw. Was more like I was adjusting a jet. Thank you
