Re: 1983-1986 suzuki dt15 adjustments
Does anyone know the adjustments for the idle which is a phillips head screw, and the other adjustment and I am thinking that it's the lean adjusment which is a flat head screw to specifications.
I've got a Clymer manual here that includes about a gazillion Suzuki motors (pretty much useless).
Manual says to first check ignition timing. Then warm up engine in tank or water and attach a tach.
Lightly seat the pilot (air screw / flat head) then back it out 1 1/4 to 1 3/4 turns.
Shift engine into forward. Rotate throttle to closed position (full retard).
If engine speed is not 600-650 rpm adjust throttle stop (phillips) to bring into spec.
Hope this is correct. Just keep track of where you started and return there if this doesn't work. Good luck.
