I just had it in the shop for carb adjust and was running fine, now after idling starts to cut off and die. It's not getting enough gas, There is a fuel filter between the tank and the bulb. Should it be somewhere else in the line? Could the choke be causing this? It's not a huge problem because I can just pump it and it starts right back up but it is running really great otherwise and would be nice to just stay running without the extra pumping.

Your problem is either a partially clogged fuel filter or a weak fuel pump. It is probably best to rebuild the fuel pump and make sure the fuel filters are clean. You may also have a defective primer bulb, although I consider this to be less likely than the fuel pump.
