1982 Johnson 60hp Weight

Hi I am trying to find out the weight of a 1982 60hp model J60ELCNM. Looking to install a pathfinder tilt and trim assembly and would like to figure out if the 55 model will work........ Thanks for any help.

180#s for your motor as it's only a 2 cylinder in 1982. The model 55 is only rated for 55 hp

Panther 55 is rated at 250lbs. I believe, so should be fine. I don't know if it matters for what you are after, but I think that '82 has the tilt assist piston. I tested that on a marina motor a year or so ago, and it's pretty impressive.

My motor is missing the tilt trim assembly... don't know when it was removed but it was before the person I bought it from...
