I purchased a very nice '82 Aquasport 17 ft. I am trying to find out more info on the boat, as it did not come with a manual. The metal tag inside the port side transom shows an I.D. number of B102. That is not consistent with the normal 12 digit numbers and I am not having any luck looking up that number anywhere. I did email the company, but not sure if I will get an answer. Does anyone know about this?

first, welcome aboard

if your boat is a 1982, then there should be a 12 digit HIN on the back of the transom. what does your paperwork say the HIN is.

there are no such things as boat manuals.

Certainly not common but they are out there.
