I recently purchased a 1982 mercury 50hp oil injected outboard. The motor starts and runs fine in high idle but when I lower the low idle, the engine dies. I did pull the bottom jet screw and they were plugged. restarted and still dies after lower idle speed. It does not seem top carb is not getting fuel. when I spray carb cleaner in top carb, the motor revs up. Any ideas?
