1982 115hp mercury fuel enrichner

1982 115 inline 6 mercury has 3 fuel enrichners on the side of each carb. The main one in the middle with 2 electric wires coming from it is getting fuel in the line. Fuel is not going to the other fuel enrichners. The lines are clear so u can c right through them. Why aren't the other 2 getting fuel and its very very hard 2 start. I've cleaned the carbs please help. Thanks

Are you sure of the year and whether it is a Mercury or a Mariner? Do you have the engine s/n? A 1982 should not have had an enrichment system unless it has been modified. The later Mercury/Mariners did have an enrichment system.

Yes it's a 1982. Here's a part serial or part number of what it looks like its 6436123. 115 6 cyclinder. Thanks

I have a 1984 115HP that also has that enrichner. If you take the line off the bottom, and push the key, you should hear a click, then some fuel will come out. If it clicks but nothing comes out, try and turn the knob on the top. Push the key again and see if fuel comes out. I am not sure what the right amount of fuel would be, or if there is a real setup for the valve. maybe someone here knows.
