MOtor has 250 hrs on it. I recently replaced everything from the gas in the tank to rebuilding the carb. The motor seems to starve itself for fuel once it gets running. The only way I can start it is to squirt some fuel down the carb throat and hold the throttle open. It will run at a fast idle but then it runs out of fuel. Are there other issues I should look at besides the carburator? I'm convinced the problem does not lie within.

First thing that comes to mind is the fuel pump. Other thing is the fuel tank vent being closed or the pick-up tube clogged in the tank.. The carb may still be the problem, even though you rebuilt it. Sometimes those passages can still be clogged even after a cleaning. Did you blow them out with compressed air? Float level and needle ok?
