I was recently on the lake dong what I usually do when all the sudden, bang clunk smash click-click-click then nothing. basically one of the oil seals must have gone out and let oil out or water in because it was frozen to the point where the starter could not turn the motor over. the motor is in great shape i just rebuilt it over ythe past few months. I did not rebuild the lower unit. I took the lower unit off and disasembled it It was a bad sign when I drain the oil and found out someone must have swapped mine out for that cool sparkely oil. You know that oil with a bunch of metal pieces in it. anyway long story short I need a pinion gear and a forward gear. I could almost buy a house for the price. Ive also ran into that its not available anywhere.

If anyone has a lower unit that will work I would gladly buy it considering the price for these gears is completely unreasonable. Or if anyone has the gears they can part with. Thank you in advance for any help BEN JONES
