took my 200hp in to the shop to see what the problem was. I had no power out of the hole. It is on a 20' stratus. Looking from the back, the bottom right cylinder had 110# of compression the rest running from 120-130. He says I have a blown head gasket and I am getting water in the cylinder. How can water get in there and why do I still get 110# compression if the gasket is bad.

Maybe the gasket seals ok at cooler temps and loses seal when at running temp. Can you warm egine up to operating temp, then pull plugs and check compression while still warm? If gasket is bad, I would expect to see more pressure drop.
