where (when the time comes) will i be able to find replacement throttle and steering cables for my 1980 , FM Marine 28' daycruiser, w/ 350 GM / OMC 800 Sterndrive.....

They appear on Ebay from time to time. If you are going to be in need, I would start looking now because they come and go.
