I have a 1980 mercury 90 hp in line 6 does it have a hook up in engine for the water pressure gage? and we're is it located at?

Some of the inline six motors had a threaded plug on the cylinder head water jacket. That is suitable for your water pressure gauge. If you don't have one of those, install a brass tee in place of the telltale elbow and put the gauge on one leg of the tee and the elbow on the other leg.
