Got a question here guys. I've acquired a boat that has a 1980 115hp merc on it and I'm not getting any fire to the plugs. I've switched power packs with 2 that I've had that I know are good. I've also disconnected the kill wires (black w/ yellow stripe) on the power packs to eliminate any thing in the control box. I also disconnected the mercury switch as well as the fuel en-richener and the en-richener jumper that's between the 2 power packs. Am I missing anything simple or does it look like my problem is in the stator or trigger?

I've got a digital volt meter and can use it but fill me in on the "how to" for this procedure. Also, an idea of what normal values I'm looking for. Thanks.

The CDIElectronics.com web site will have ohm tests for the stator.
