I have a 35hp I thought I was doing good with I have repaired alot of problems -shelled lower unit-water impeller meltdown-last thing I did was replace an old remote with new remote the motor started and I ran it for 10 min. on idle adjusting the controls with good water flow and never revved up. i got it to the lake it started for about a second and it died never to start again. I have good spark I have gas. I have compression at both cyl. I have exhaust. but when I try to start it it sounds like the timing has jumped I checked m manual and it said there was no timing adj. I pulled the flywheel and the spark advance appears all well. as I try to start it the flywheel rotates but with much effort. Is it possible to jump time? any help appreciated
