I have a 1980 evinrude 35hp that revs to high when I push the throttle. Does anyone know what the idle rpms are and what the max safe rpms are. Thanks

Dont know what you mean by too high?
I think the idle shud be about 600 - 800rpm but no idea about max-
You need to be more specific

I was trying to find out what the is the max rpms this motor can run safely without blowing something up. hehe
