1980-81 Merc 4 hp Gnat no spark

Working on a 1980 or 81 4hp 2 cylinder Gnat for a friend of mine and it has no spark. Disconnected the stop switch from the switch box and still have no spark. How do I test the outputs of the stator trigger and switch box as the manual I am using has no test procedure for it.

Thanks, I found a troubleshooting guide on CDI Electronics's website and have checked the stator trigger and switch box resistance and they are all OK but I still have no fire.
