1980 40 hp wiring problems

Hey all new to the site but have been browsing it for a while and tons of good information on here. I have a 1980 40 hp with the typical rotted wire problem. When I first purchased the boat it would crank but not fire. I have since replaced the ignition coils, switch box, main wiring harness, and starter solenoid. Still with all this replaced the engine will not fire but the choke solenoid will operate. However, when the starter solenoid is jumped across the terminals it fires right up and idles...just cant kill it with the key( had to pull a plug wire)
My question(s) are:
Where does the black/yellow tracer wire connect into?
Where do the three black wires out of the wire harness connect into?
