I have searched and read as much as I can through this website I still cannot find the bolt below the carb port side. I have the lower end 1 1/2 down but thats it I have the starter removed and still no luck the onlhing I see is the bolts that hold the casing on and the main mounting bolt below the carb. I lost fwd and rvs and I do not have the funds to take it to the mechanics if someone could help this blind man out that would be great I love my boat and have trip planned soon.
Piece of cake. <br /><br />Depending on the year of your motor...you might be looking in the wrong spot...check around the middle of the leg...is there a 1 3/4 in plate?<br /><br />IF so..open it up and take apart your shifter there.<br /><br />If its a newer model..follow the shift rod up into the engine. It should be under and behind the carbs. Closer to the intake than the carbs. Either a 3/8th bolt or a 7/16 bolt...sometimes they also have a flathead screwdriver slot in them.<br /><br />TMD
